GCE Lab School

Over the past 5 years, the GCE Lab School has created a transformative, 21st century college-prep model that redefines the high school classroom and cultivates graduates who are prepared and inspired to succeed in school and in life. Focused on Global Citizenship, GCE’s educational model exposes students to real-world environments where they explore their interests, apply what they’ve learned in the classroom, and expand their knowledge through firsthand experience locally and globally. Their accredited, standards-aligned model is rigorous, 100% digitally accessible, and based on student-centered, inquiry and project-based learning.

The results are undeniable.

50% needs-based high school scholars
100% College Acceptance
80% Merit Based College Scholarships—more than 2x the national average.

Extending into the broader community.

Based on the success of the school’s learning model, Urban X has partnered with GCE Lab School’s parent company, Global Learning Models, to extend this curriculum into underserved communities through summer immersion programs and teacher training.

UrbanX is also proud to support GCE Lab School’s commitment to diversity in learning through the Global Citizenship Scholarship Fund, to help ensure the model continues to be developed as a global classroom that addresses different perspectives, cultures, and learning styles.
